Enjoy the sunshine over this bank holiday weekend….make the most of our beer garden!

If the weatherman is to be believed then we are in for a sunny bank holiday weekend :) !  Make the most of it and get out and about to enjoy the fresh air.  Why not take a nice country walk and finish with a hearty pub lunch in our colourful and peaceful beer garden.  Dogs are welcome too in the garden so bring them on the walk!

Enjoy a bite to eat from our delicious homemade menu along with a refreshing well earned pint….it always tastes better when you have earned it!

A very Happy New Year from all of the team!

We would like to wish you a very Happy 2013!  We have had such a lovely Christmas and New Year in the pub.  It has been so nice to see so many familiar faces joining us for drinks and a bite to eat over the festive period!

Let’s hope that 2013 brings us all a good year!…..hopefully with more sunshine and less rain!!

Sunday lunch now served til 3 o’clock!

We are now serving our Sunday lunch menu for an extra half an hour til 3pm.  This means it gives you an extra half an hour to clean the car, walk the dog, do the DIY, or take a nap before you join us at the Fox for a delicious Sunday lunch!

Now that the cold weather is here, come and take advantage of our snug and cosy lounge bar offering some great pub meals. With our open fire in our ‘snug’ bar there really isn’t a better place to be during the cold winter months!

Join us this bank holiday at the Fox…

We can’t believe August bank holiday is here already?! Where has the summer gone?  Well with a 3 day weekend upon us then its definitely time to make the most of it.  Come and join us this bank holiday weekend at the Fox for a drink or a spot of lunch and if the weather is kind to us then why not make the most of the British weather and take a seat in our relaxing beer garden.

Food is served:

LUNCHTIMES
Monday to Saturday 12.00pm – 2.00pm
Sundays 12.00pm – 2.30pm

EVENINGS
Tuesday – Friday from 5.30pm

Dare we believe the weatherman?!

If so then it looks like we are in for a nice weekend!  And in true British style….quick make the most of it!  The perfect opportunity to dust of those shorts, don a t-shirt and go for a nice walk in the countryside, followed by a well-deserved hearty lunch and a pint (or chosen tipple) at the pub!  Don’t forget about our peaceful beer garden at the rear of the Fox, it is a perfect sun trap of an afternoon.  Pets are welcome too so why not finish your walk at the Fox and then enjoy the afternoon with a drink or two!

And if in typical British style the weatheman changes his mind at the last minute and we are in for yet more rain then get indoors and where better to be indoors than at the pub!!

British pubs for a british summer!

Well the weather may not YET be what we were hoping for but being British we will always look on the hopeful side that “it will come”!  And when it does we have our beautiful and secluded beer garden to the rear of the pub to enjoy a refreshing drink, a spot of lunch or a hearty evening dinner.

Or if this British weather continues then it is a good job that we have our cosy snug and lounge bar as they are just perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

Come and join us this weekend whatever the weather!!
