Cask ales….at the heart of the British pub!

If traditional cask ales are your tipple then the Fox is the place for you! We have a great range of real ales on offer with local guest beers changing regularly.  We are most proud of our award winning beer and have featured in the “Good Beer Guide” for many years and our beer has also been Casque Mark accredited many times.

However if real ales aren’t your tipple then don’t worry we have many other refreshing drinks on offer including our fine lagers and world wines as well as a large selection of refreshing fruit juices and soft drinks, not to mention our large selection of malt whiskies!!

Well officially Spring is here and Summer is on its way so lets hope that means the sunshine is en route!  Come and join us this bank holiday weekend at the Fox for a quiet drink or a spot of lunch and if the weather is kind to us then why not make the most of the British weather and take a seat in our relaxing beer garden.

Food is served:

LUNCHTIMES
Monday to Saturday 12.00pm – 2.00pm
Sundays 12.00pm – 2.30pm

EVENINGS
Tuesday – Friday from 5.30pm

Pop in over the bank holiday!

We are all looking forward to the forthcoming 4-day bank holiday weekend!  We can only hope that this weather continues and it really will be a great one.  No matter what the weather brings, we are always smiling at the Fox!

Why not come and join us for a spot of lunch over the weekend or treat someone to a delicious evening meal.  Don’t forget about our delicious Roast Dinners this Sunday….a necessary part of every Easter Sunday! (as well as the chocolate!)

Countdown till Christmas…plus a gift from us!

Christmas week is finally here and the big day is almost upon us!  With most people having already started the festive celebrations and many people already finishing work, school, college and university for the Christmas break then this week is the perfect time to catch up with family and friends.

Why not come and join us at the Fox for a drink or 2 whilst reminiscing over the past year or enjoy a delicious lunch or evening meal in our cosy and festive surroundings!  Although we do not serve a specific Christmas menu, we do still get into the full festive swing and the kitchen team always like to spice up our specials board with some festive delights!

And to say Merry Christmas we would like to give every party who dine with us during December a 20% OFF voucher that can be used in the new year!

Autumn is just around the corner and the Fox is the perfect place to go!

With our cosy atmosphere, intimate lounge bar and snug area, our roaring open fire and a delicious choice of hot lunches and evening meals, the Fox is the perfect place to come and enjoy an afternoon or evening. Food is served daily at lunchtimes with our evening menu now available Tuesday to Friday.

We also serve a large selection of hot drinks including teas, coffees and even a large selection of liqueur coffees. We also serve our well kept selection of fine cask ales of which we are most proud of along with a variety of other cold refreshing drinks and our selection of excellent malt whiskies.

Dine out at the Fox this bank holiday

Make the most of your August bank holiday weekend.  Come and visit The Fox and Hounds for a spot of lunch or a refreshing drink in our stunning beer garden at the rear of the pub.  Fingers crossed for sunshine but even if the sun isnt shining, our lounge bar is always a cosy and welcoming place to relax.  Come and take a look at our daily menu and specials board or treat yourself to one of our tempting desserts!

We also have a fine selection of cask ales available along with a diverse choice of refreshments (not to mention our large choice of malt whiskies!).

Our secluded and sunny beer garden is the perfect place for a refreshing drink or a spot of lunch.  Tucked quietly away around the back of the pub, with many tables and chairs, this relaxing setting at the Fox is ideal on a sunny warm day.

Cask ales a plenty!

At The Fox and Hounds, we pride ourselves on our well kept traditional cask ales.  As many of our locals will tell you, we serve a perfect pint at The Fox!  Our ales vary as we offer a number of guest ales but there is always a tipple that will take you fancy! (if you like ale that is!) 

A great deal of time and care is taken to ensure that our beer is served to its highest quality which is all worth it in the tasting.  However if ale isn’t your tipple then we also serve a range of fine lagers and a delicious selection of world wines.  Not to mention an extensive selection of refreshing non-alcoholic beverages.
