We would like to wish you a very Happy 2013! We have had such a lovely Christmas and New Year in the pub. It has been so nice to see so many familiar faces joining us for drinks and a bite to eat over the festive period!
Let’s hope that 2013 brings us all a good year!…..hopefully with more sunshine and less rain!!

It has been so nice to see such lovely weather this week…make sure that you make the most of it this weekend. Get out and about with family and friends…come and join us down at the Fox for a refreshing pint, chilled glass of wine or an ice cold soft drink! Our peaceful and stunning beer garden is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink or two and a spot of lunch.
Pets are also welcome in our beer garden so why not make it the finishing point of a dog walk in the sun!

We can’t believe August bank holiday is here already?! Where has the summer gone? Well with a 3 day weekend upon us then its definitely time to make the most of it. Come and join us this bank holiday weekend at the Fox for a drink or a spot of lunch and if the weather is kind to us then why not make the most of the British weather and take a seat in our relaxing beer garden.

If traditional cask ales are your tipple then the Fox is the place for you! We have a great range of real ales on offer with local guest beers changing regularly. We are most proud of our award winning beer and have featured in the “Good Beer Guide” for many years and our beer has also been Casque Mark accredited many times.
However if real ales aren’t your tipple then don’t worry we have many other refreshing drinks on offer including our fine lagers and world wines as well as a large selection of refreshing fruit juices and soft drinks, not to mention our large selection of malt whiskies!!
If so then it looks like we are in for a nice weekend! And in true British style….quick make the most of it! The perfect opportunity to dust of those shorts, don a t-shirt and go for a nice walk in the countryside, followed by a well-deserved hearty lunch and a pint (or chosen tipple) at the pub! Don’t forget about our peaceful beer garden at the rear of the Fox, it is a perfect sun trap of an afternoon. Pets are welcome too so why not finish your walk at the Fox and then enjoy the afternoon with a drink or two!
And if in typical British style the weatheman changes his mind at the last minute and we are in for yet more rain then get indoors and where better to be indoors than at the pub!!

Well the weather may not YET be what we were hoping for but being British we will always look on the hopeful side that “it will come”! And when it does we have our beautiful and secluded beer garden to the rear of the pub to enjoy a refreshing drink, a spot of lunch or a hearty evening dinner.
Or if this British weather continues then it is a good job that we have our cosy snug and lounge bar as they are just perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
