The general decor of this pub is true to it's origins, featuring an assortment of memorabilia with collections of Brass ashtrays (85), Horse brasses (155), whisky cases (155), a collection of Police helmets and other hats, Plates, Bottles (150), Guiness clocks and other clocks plus many other items of interest.
Most of the Edwardian building's character has been preserved, including pitch pine woodwork and leaded windows.
A superb menu of bar snacks including Platters, Toasted Ciabatas and Baked Potatoes, open sandwiches together with the 'Daily Specials' Beef Pies, Lamb Shank, Fish of the day, Lasagna, Somerset Chicken, Vegetarian dishes and other delights depending on the season, weather and mood of the hardworking Cooks and Kitchen staff. Traditional Roasts are served on Sundays.
In the summer months the outside drinking area is a profusion of colour with flower tubs and hanging baskets

"The Fox" serves a range of 6 well kept Real Ales, Websters Bitter, Theakstons Best Bitter, Old Peculiar, Guest Beers and Brews from local Brimstage Brewery such as Trappers Hat, Rhode Island Red, Oyster Catcher or Scarecrow bitter. We stock over 60 Whiskies, 5 Lagers including Premium Brands. We also sell sensibly priced wines including 12 Wines by the Glass.
